Introduction

Tianjin No.10 Automation Instrument Factory, Tianjin chen xing gas meter equipment technology co.,ltd.founded in 1958,is the key enterprise in manufacturing automation instrument under the Ministry of Mechanical and Electronics Industry, and has a nearly 40 years history of producing flowmeters. With an area of more than 20000㎡,the factory is equipped with the imported NC turning machine, complete testing device of flowmeters and the advanced design & testing organization, such as CAD station, Central Laboratory etc. At present it has got a staff of more than 1000,including 20% professional technical personnel, which is a workers and staff team with perfect skills and excellent quality.

In 1984,our factory has introduced a complete set of technology and assembling & testing streamline with annual capacity of 300000 domestic gas meters from THORN EMI Flow Metering Company of England. The product was approved by British experts, and its performance conformed with BS4161 and GB6968-B and reached the international advanced level. On this basis, after more 10 years of development, our factory researched and produced one after another G1.6-G6 series aluminium case domestic gas meters and G1.6-G4 series steel case domestic gas meters with 1990's international advanced level, 360° rotary bonnet and plastic mechanism,(This technique has taken out a patent and has been transferred to 2 gas meter makers) as well as G6-G100 industrial & commercial gas meter series. Also, our LPG special meters have been first of all in China put on the market and have replaced the imported ones. In 1994 our factory has researched and produced IC card prepayment gas meters and remote transmission gas meters. The above-mentioned products meet GB/T6968-97, and first won the titles of municipal and ministerial "Good Quality Product", then "The First Class Product" in Tianjin, as will as golden prize at a countrywide industrial appraisal meeting. In 1996 our gas meter have been elected the recommended product for residential buildings by the Construction Ministry, the Machinery Ministry and the National Quality Technical Supervision Bureau, and sold well throughout China. Since 1991 our domestic gas meters and industrial & commercial gas meters have been exported to more then 10 Countries and regions, such as Romania, Korea, Iran, Russia, East Europe, East Asia, South Asia, South America etc. The quantity of exported product is the 1/3 of the annual production. A joint ventuie has been set up abroad. At present our factory has become a famous gas meter maker for its widest varieties and specifications, highest level of product and largest export quantity.

In addition, our factory also produces industrial automation instrument series, in which the throttling device has more than 30 years history of production. Our factory is earliest flowmeter maker in North China. The flowmeters have a wide variety with measuring tube from Φ15mm to Φ2500mm.Our products are up to ISO5167 and China Petrochemical Industry Corporation Standard for flange tapping throttling device, and won the title of "Good Quality Product" award by Ministry and Tianjin, and meet different requirements of users. The vortex shedding meters with antivibration and temperature resistance are another series of products with measuring tubes from Φ25mm to Φ1500mm,which are suitable for measurement of gas. Fluid or saturated vapour. Early in 1984,our factory started to study the intelligent instrument, at present has developed the third generation product with 16 digits one chip microcomputer, which may combine with throttling device and vortex shedding flowmeter to measure mass flow, calorie value, liquid level, gas/liquid two phase flow, and by which means our patent product, Wide Range Differential Flowmeter, can expand its range rate from 3:1 to 10:1.These intelligent instruments won many users for their good performance, perfect function and low price. Besides, our factory also produces pitot flowmeters; flow, differential pressure and pressure transmitters; meter valves and fittings, widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, electric power industries etc.
